John works in audit and assurance and tax accounting areas. His client focus in audit and assurance includes: manufacturing and distribution, inspection services and U.S.-based subsidiaries of foreign companies. His tax focus includes: partnerships, corporations and individuals.

Before joining Doyle & Horlacher, John worked for Rödl & Partners in Atlanta.

John loves fly fishing, writing short stories and professional wrestling.

You often hear Flynn’s voice, usually laughing, emanating from the office hallways. If he’s not actively managing, or working on a specific task, he’s likely talking with clients about their business and personal lives. He believes the two are intertwined.

Flynn’s accounting industry expertise focuses on entrepreneurs and privately held businesses, family-owned businesses, real estate, professional services and medical practices. His passion in accounting is consulting for clients to help them make informed decisions. His accounting services include tax, multi-state taxation, estate wills and trusts.

Outside of the office, Flynn spends time with his wife, Sharron, and their four kids. You can’t break him of his habit of daily walks. Other times you might find him hiking, kayaking, biking and doing standup paddle boarding. If you’re lucky, he’ll cook you a great meal, using his favorite appliance, a Green Egg grill.

Flynn serves on the finance board of Christ The King Catholic Church. He’s Treasurer of Christ The King Knights of Columbus Council. He also coaches youth basketball among other volunteer pursuits. He previously served on the Christ The King school board and Father Ryan alumni board.
