Ken Lowery

Managing Partner

Ken’s public accounting experience spans over thirty years. He has been a partner in large and small accounting firms and has chosen Horlacher, Williams + Lowery, PLC because of its unique qualifications and experience and the way the firm values relationships with their clients.

Ken works in the tax, consulting and assurance fields. Having the brief experience as the CFO/COO for a privately held company, Ken also brings an understanding of the client side of business.

Business categories that Ken knows well include: construction, distribution, personal service companies, hospitality, private clubs and golf courses, non-profits and manufacturing.

Ken was the Nashville Office Managing Shareholder for a regional accounting firm with 755 employees in 18 offices when he left public accounting in 2015. He left to become CFO/COO and part owner in a privately held company that was a client of his for 16 years. With his help, the company was successfully sold to a large international business. After his time in the corporate world, he was anxious to return to public accounting. He could have chosen many firms but chose Horlacher, Williams + Lowery, PLC because of the quality of the individuals and vast experience of the people in the firm.

Ken and his wife Kristi have three children. He also has five grandchildren who keep him busy and entertained. When he’s not enjoying his family, he’s riding his Harley-Davidson.

Ken is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Society of Certified Public
Accountants.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from MTSU.
